Product Quality Lead

 We are looking to hire a seasoned Product Quality Lead

Purpose of the role:

The Product Quality Lead works in close co-operation with all Voyage business functions (Product Groups, Operations) applying analytical skills and high class quality proficiency business skills to evaluate existing and identify new or enhanced systems, methods and processes, which advance business objectives relating to quality and reliability of Voyage products.

Product Quality Lead drives the product related quality activities and ensures that the problem resolution and continuous improvement processes work efficiently.

The role requires a range of abilities; from understanding of HW, SW, systems, testing, verification, validation and regulatory requirements. Team work in full chain in Voyage is securing the quality starting from quality planning, through quality assurance and control to continuous improvement.

The Product Quality Lead will work with all departments driving high class quality requirements to Voyage solutions and processes.

 

 

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead Product Quality planning, assurance, control and continuous improvement in Voyage to deliver world class quality for our customers.
  • Define, develop and analyse Quality requirements, Key Product Quality and Reliability Performance Indicators, Process Quality targets especially for new products and solutions together with product development.
  • Coaching and securing Quality planning activities such as FMEA, Product quality assessment, Quality plans and Quality requirement identification.
  • Coaching and securing the right Quality assurance and control activities are in place, especially in engineering, SW testing, verification and validation
  • Coaching and securing the right data quality and analytics to have transparent live quality view.
  • Driving the analysis and continuous improvement activities to identify process and product improvements to relevant departments and work to resolution as prioritised.
  • Coordinate NC process and trend analysis together with Customer Success & Operations.
  • Support Value Engineering and projects.
  • Contribute to Voyage warranty terms and warranty terms of Voyage vendors.
  • Contribute to Voyage vendors assessments and continuous improvement.
  • Support product certification.
  • Support cyber security and product safety operations.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Engineering education.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years working experience in a similar quality position, working with hardware, software and systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience of data analyse tools and software.
  • Achieving results through strong and collaborative teamwork in multicultural environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate natural authority and to make things happen, especially when working with the senior management.
  • Proactive facilitator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good written and spoken in English, other languages are benefit.
  • Strong knowledge of QHSE disciplines.
  • Management system knowledge and implementation experience.
