We are now looking for a

 

Project Engineer (m/f/d)

 

to join our team in Hamburg, Germany.

 

What will you be doing 

 

As Project Engineer you will focus on these responsibilities:

 

  • Elaboration and clarification of detailed technical concepts to meet the client's specifications with suppliers
  • Preparation of quotation costing and request for proposal and quotation specifications based on quantity structures, external quotations and regulations
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers for technical clarification of systems
  • Monitoring of sub-suppliers and involved stakeholders (internal/external: e.g. workshop, production, assembly, purchasing, warehouse, shipping) for compliance with schedules, technical and qualitative specifications within the scope of order processing
  • Definition of the project-related design process including definition of technical content, planning of resource requirements, preparation of schedules, tracking and implementation of content/schedule adjustments as well as approval of the design status (4-eyes principle)
  • Construction of complete arrangement drawings, cable overview plans, cable connection plans, circuit diagrams, device connection documents, assembly drawings, construction documents, parts lists, etc., taking into account the respective specification, (class) regulations,manufacturer specifications, etc.
  • Creation of framework data for the subsequent cable routing (type, category, length limitation) incl. data entry and maintenance in the cable planning tool
  • Determination and creation of the material requirement request (BANF) and the sustainability of the purchasing process
  • Creation of test specifications and delivery protocols for function delivery to customers/class
  • Reporting within the project regarding deadline, costs, open points, remaining distance


The below will enable you to shine in this role: 

 

  • Bachelor / Master Electrical Engineering or similar
  • App. 3 years relevant professional experience and also knowledge in ships construction
  • Very good knowledge of English in spoken and written English
  • In-depth CAD knowledge (AutoCAD or EPLAN)
  • Versatile system knowledge about SNE products and solutions
  • Well-founded knowledge in SAP, MS Office (Excel, Word, Visio)
  • Knowledge in rules and regulations

Was sind die Aufgaben?

 

  • Ausarbeitung und Klärung detaillierter technischer Konzepte zur Erfüllung der Auftraggeber-Spezifikationen mit den Lieferanten
  • Erstellung der Angebotskalkulation und der Anfrage- und Angebotsspezifikationen auf Basis von Mengengerüsten, externen Angeboten und Vorschriften.
  • Kommunikation mit Kunden und Lieferanten zur technischen Klärung der Systeme
  • Überwachen der Unterlieferanten und beteiligter Gewerke (intern/extern: z.B. Werkstatt, Fertigung, Montage, Einkauf, Lager, Versand) auf Einhaltung der terminlichen, technischen und qualitativen Vorgaben im Rahmen der Auftragsabwicklung
  • Definition des projektbezogenen Konstruktionsprozesses inklusive Festlegung technischer Inhalte, Planung des Ressourcenbedarfs, Erstellung von Terminplänen, Verfolgung und Umsetzung von inhaltlichen/terminlichen Anpassungen sowie Freigabe des Konstruktionsstandes (4-Augen-Prinzip)
  • Konstruktion von vollständigen Arrangementzeichnungen, Kabelübersichtsplänen, Kabelanschlussplänen, Stromlaufpläne, Geräteanschlussunterlagen, Montagezeichnungen, Bauunterlagen, Stücklisten etc. unter Berücksichtigung der jeweiligen Spezifikation, der (Klasse-)Vorschriften, Herstellervorgaben, etc.
  • Erstellung von Rahmendaten für das anschließende Kabelrouting (Typ, Kategorie, Längenbegrenzung) inkl. Dateneingabe und –pflege im Kabelplanungstool
  • Ermitteln und Erstellen der Materialbedarfsanforderung (BANF) und das Nachhalten des Einkaufsprozesses
  • Erstellung von Prüfvorschriften und Abgabeprotokollen für Funktionsabgaben an Kunden/Klasse
  • Berichterstattung innerhalb des Projektes hinsichtlich Termin, Kosten, offene Punkte, Reststrecke

 

Um in dieser Rolle erfolgreich zu sein erwarten wir:

 

  • Bachelor / Master Elektrotechnik oder vergleichbar
  • Ca. 3 Jahre einschlägige Berufserfahrung sowie Erfahrung auf dem Gebiet der Schiffskonstruktion
  • Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
  • Fundierte CAD-Kenntnisse (AutoCAD oder EPLAN)
  • Vielseitige Systemkenntnisse über die SNE Produkte und Lösungen
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse in SAP, MS Office (Excel, Word, Visio)    
  • Gute Kenntnis der Vorschriftenlage
