Our Marine Electrical Systems business provides innovative state-of-the-art system solutions for technical demanding requirements focusing on naval ships, yachts and special vessels of all types. As a competent partner for ship owners and shipyards worldwide Marine Electrical Systems assumes overall responsibility for complex systems projects.

We are now looking for an open-minded and team-oriented

Project Engineer for Technical Documentation (m/f/d)

to join our ILS (Integrated Logistics Support) team in Hamburg, Germany. 

The team is responsible for providing our military customers (mainly the German Navy) with high-quality and up-to-date information and deliveries covering the complete ILS scope. This starts from LCC-RAMS analysis and maintenance information and covers also the spare parts information as well as the technical documentation for the complete portfolio of the Marine Electrical Systems.

In this role your responsibility will include:

• Technical-logistic support of customers and delivery of contract commitments to customers
• Creation of specifications and quantity frameworks as well as the associated calculations in the preparation of quotations
• Preparation of specifications for project-specific ILS and technical documentation
• Independent editorial revision of system manuals and development of spare parts lists (incl. codification)
• Planning, preparation and maintenance of technical system manuals in close cooperation with the involved project and development departments
• Selection, assignment and management of subcontractors for technical-logistic support as well as clarification of all technical aspects with the subcontractors
• Conducting reviews and closing lectures to ensure factual accuracy of system manuals
• Ensure adherence to deadlines, costs and quality for the implementation of system manuals and other ILS activities
• Preparation, carrying out, and follow-up of customer training which is state-of-the-art in methodology and didactics

 
As an ideal candidate you should have the following:

• BSc degree in Electrical Engineering or similar education
• App. 2-3 years of relevant experience in technical documentation, preferably in the maritime industry
• Profound experience in the field of Integrated Logistics Support
• Knowledge of relevant ILS Standards, especially ASD S1000D and/or S2000M
• Basic experience with an XML-based authoring system to create technical documentation
• Excellent technical German and English skills
• Methodical didactic presentations skills

Was werden Sie tun?  

Sie sind verantwortlich für die Sicherstellung einer kosten-, termin- und kundengerechten Abwicklung von technischen Dokumentations-, Schulungs- und sonstigen ILS-Projektanteilen (ILS = Integrierte logistische Unterstützung).

Ihre Arbeit wird sich auf diese Aufgaben konzentrieren: 

• Technisch-logistische Betreuung von Kunden und Lieferung von Vertragsgegenständen an Kunden
• Erstellen von Spezifikationen und Mengengerüsten sowie der zugehörigen Kalkulationen im Rahmen der Angebotserstellung
• Erstellung von Lastenheften für projektspezifische ILS und technische Dokumentationen
• Eigenständige redaktionelle Überarbeitung von Systemhandbüchern und Erarbeitung von Ersatzteilkatalogen (inkl. Kodifizierung)
• Planung, Erstellung und Pflege von technischen Systemhandbüchern in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den beteiligten Projekt- und EntwicklungsabteilungenAuswahl,
• Beauftragung und Steuerung von Unterlieferanten der technisch-logistischen Unterstützung sowie Klärung aller technischen Aspekte mit den Unterlieferanten
• Durchführung von Reviews und Schlußlektorat zur Sicherstellung der sachlichen Richtigkeit der Systemhandbücher
• Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von Terminen, Kosten und Qualität für die Umsetzung der Systemhandbücher und sonstiger ILS-Aktivitäten
• Vorbereitung, Durchführung und Nachbereitung von Kundenschulungen mit aktuellem methodisch-didaktischen Stand
   

Sie sollten über gute Kenntnisse in folgenden Bereichen verfügen: 

• Genaue Produktkenntnisse
• Sehr gute (technische) Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
• Erfahrung in der Erstellung technischer Handbücher sowie zum Thema Integrierte logistische Unterstützung (ILS)
• Kenntnisse von den ASD-Standards S1000D und/oder S2000M
• Erste Erfahrungen mit einem (XML-)Redaktionssystem zur Erstellung von technischen Handbüchern.
   

Mit den folgenden Eigenschaften können Sie in dieser Position glänzen: 

• Abgeschlossenes Studium (Elektrotechnik oder vergleichbar) oder Techniker-Ausbildung
• Ca. 3 Jahre technische Berufserfahrungmit Studium
• Langjährige einschlägige Berufserfahrung mit Techniker-Ausbildung
