QEHS Manager

We are looking for a QEHS Manager whose main responsibility in to reduce the LTI's, improve the safety awareness, reduce rework costs and comply with local, international and business regulations. The preferred location for this position is in Hamburg, Germany.  

 

Your role and responsibilities

As a QEHS Manager your work will include monitoring and managing quality issues including reworks and non-conformities, conduct and co-ordinate quality walks, monitoring and managing of near misses. You’ll be working as a part of busy and dynamic Workshop and Field Service teams with diverse expertise.   

 

What you will do:

  • Conduct and co-ordinate field service and workshop safety walks
  • Monitor and managing of near misses
  • Lead Field Service HSE meetings
  • Provide support to employees to ensure operations are carried out in safe and correct manner
  • Support in the investigation of accident reporting
  • Point of contact for NATO Quality Assurance Requirements (AQAP) in dealing with the German Navy
  • Distribution of quality and safety flashes to relevant stakeholders
  • Monitoring effectiveness through conducting internal audits and supporting external audits
  • Health monitoring of Workshop & Field Service employees
  • Manage and coordinate the Emergency Response local teams

 

As an ideal candidate you need to be successful in this role:

  • Demonstrated experience in monitoring and managing quality issues and near misses.
  • Experience in conducting safety investigations and accident reporting
  • Have knowledge and ideally strong experience with NATO quality assurance procedures (AQAP), as well as international and business regulations which are to be adhered to.
  • Be able to manage internal training and HSE meetings.
  • Be fluent in German and English
