We are now looking for a
Quality Manager (m/f/d)
to join our team working for a better future.
The preferred location for the position is in Hamburg, Germany.
What you will be doing
As Quality Manager your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Modelling of all business processes, considering normative requirements from existing certifications as well as legal and regulatory requirements
- Verify processes through ongoing dialog with stakeholders and initiate continuous improvements
- Ongoing comparison of the model with existing internal rules and instructions
- Train and support solution owners in the handling of non-conformities and corrective actions, including verification of their effectiveness
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement results in business process modelling
- Contribute to the development of sustainable knowledge management structures
- Contribute to the revision and completion of internal regulations and templates
- Editorial support for a glossary and list of abbreviations for the organization
- Create online training courses on the use of the business process model
To be successful in this role we expect you to have:
- Degree in engineering
- Qualification as a quality assurance manager
- Qualification as internal auditor for quality management systems
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience
- Good knowledge of ISO 9100 and EN 9100 quality management standards
- Knowledge of NATO quality assurance requirements
- Experience in shipbuilding or marine equipment industry
- Experience in business process modeling, analysis and optimization
- Good knowledge of written and spoken German and English
- Audit experience
- SAP knowledge
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
- Willingness to travel domestically and abroad
- Strong Communication Skills
- Analytical thinking & results orientation
- Organizational & problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently
In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 20%, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.
