Software Developer - Autonomous Ships (m/f/d)

Location – Hamburg, Germany

To us, Autonomous shipping is not about visions of unmanned vessels or fully automated port operations. At least not just. While everybody is out there speculating about where “Autonomy” might eventually possibly perhaps lead us, we’re taking a slightly different approach: We’re taking action and explore what we can do with autonomy today. Our big advantage on this journey: a stepwise approach. We are establishing a variety of solutions that range from “simple” decision support at one end to fully unmanned vessels on the other. With this, we don’t have to speculate about what might eventually be, but can already harness the power of “Autonomous Potential” to create benefits right here and now. For a safer, more efficient and sustainable today. And to set the foundation for a bright tomorrow.

To drive and utilise this potential we are now looking to recruit a Senior Software Engineer – Assistance and Autonomy to join our Autonomy Engineering team in Hamburg.

  • Interface with Ship Motion Control.
  • Support us defining the right autonomy architecture
