We are now looking for:
Service Coordinator (m/f/d)
to join our team in Hamburg, Gasstrasse. The position is a permanent
role. We will strengthen our focus and support of Wärtsilä’s our key customers to improve our overall performance in terms of lifecycle support for our Nacos installation.
What will you be doing
Main objective of your work as Service Coordinato will be:
- Maintain a timely service order processing including material disposition, shipment preparation and complete documentation for all NACOS service attendances worldwide
- Proactive communication with customer incl. regular status update
- Monitoring and clarification of receivables and disputes with sales and accounting departments
- Obtaining the necessary technical information in cooperation with the responsible technical support department
- Preparation and conducting regular customer visits at customer’s premisses
- Developing analyses and required action plans together with technical support, product management and other involved
- Being the Center of Communication between all involved external parties (customers, service partner, agents) and internal parties (i.e. Product Development, Technology, Engineering, Export & Forwarding, Accounting & Finance, Repair, E&A Business Control, Service Sales, Operations, Warehouse & Consignment, Supply Chain Management)
- Using of Salesforce as communication tool
More detailed responsibilities in terms of service coordination:
- Verification of commercial conditions of the incoming service request (Warranty, Fleet Maintenance Contract, advance payment etc.)
- Preliminary technical clarification (independently or in cooperation with our co-team technical support)
- Determining the material/components required for the service attendance (including inventory check, sourcing options, lead time)
- Requesting potential service partners (capabilities, availability of spares and technician, probable expenses)
- Issuing a quotation / cost estimation to customer
- Creating the SAP order
- Purchase order to service partner
- Initiating the customizing process of components
- Monitoring the outcome of the service
- Follow up on unused/ defect material
- Requesting customer feedback
- Initiating commercial invoice
- Monitoring of receivables and payment reminders (if required) in cooperation with the Finance & Accounting Department
The below will enable you to shine in this role:
- Dipl.-Ing. E-Technic or comparable
- Approx. 3 years of experience
- Depth product and service flow knowledge
- Good English skills (spoken and written)
- Excellent level of communication skills
- Customer oriented mindset
