Site Supervisor (m/f/d)

 

to join our team.

 

The preferred location for the position is in Hamburg, Germany.

 

What will you be doing

 

As Site Supervisor you will focus on these responsibilities:

 

  • Operational leadership for the installation and setting-to-work phase of one or several systems on board 
  • Coordination of the installation process and the resources in cooperation with the site manager, the planning engineer and the customer
  • Coordination and supervision of the subcontractors 
  • Coordination of the required logistic processes 
  • Technical supervision as well as schedule and cost controlling (creating timetables, tracking of additional cost)
  • Ongoing quality assurance and quality improvement, e.g. regarding subcontractors
  • Ensuring continuous reporting to site manager and sub-project manager
  • Maintaining data quality within the respective IT-systems 
  • Handover of the system to class and customer, if requested in cooperation with sub-project manager 
  • Clarification of open issues with engineering and purchasing
  • Minimizing and optimizing of risks with regard to safety issues (HSE) as well as commercial issues

 

The below will enable you to shine in this role: 

 

  • Completed technical vocational training (technician/master technician) or equivalent 
  • Approx. 2 years of professional experience in the field of electrical installation on ships (turn-key projects) and installation processes on board 
  • Knowledge of ship operation technology
  • German and English language skills (written and spoken)   
  • Overview about processes on board
  • Hands-on mentality
