We are now looking for a


Testing Engineer (m/f/d)


to join our team. The position is permanent. The preferred location for the position is in Hamburg, Behringstrasse.


As Testing Engineer your work will focus on these responsibilities:


  • Identifying unexpected behaviour in complex systems
  • Development of automated test cases based on functional descriptions provided by development engineers
  • Design and development of test automation strategies
  • Creating and maintaining automated test cases
  • Making use of the version control system for tests
  • Researching new tools and methods for test automation
  • Integrating test automation methods into the test manager for test result transfer
  • Analysing defects and supports troubleshooting for fast-time-fixes
  • Reports defects to development teams
  • Follow-up of defect correction


To be successful you will bring with you:


  • Graduate degree in computer science or telecommunications
  • App. 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Specific knowledge:
    • Fluent English and German skills spoken and written
    • Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python)
    • Experience with Test Management Systems (e.g. Polarion)
    • Solid experience with OS administration
    • Solid knowledge about TCP/IP networks
    • Experience with UI testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium)
    • Familiarity with version control and collaboration tools (Git, DevOps, Gira)
  • Soft skills:
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Eagerness to learn and investigate new tools
    • Technical personality
    • Attention to details
    • Interest is software architecture design and development of high quality software
    • Technical Generalist - Not afraid of going from one technical area to another one and learning different technologies

  • Identifizierung von unerwartetem Verhalten in komplexen Systemen
  • Entwicklung von automatisierten Tests, die aus funktionellen Beschreibungen der Produktentwicklung abzuleiten sind
  • Design und Entwicklung von Testautomatisierungsstrategien
  • Erstellung und Wartung von automatisierten Testfällen
  • Anwendung von Version-Control Tools
  • Analyse von neuen/erweiterten Tools und Methoden in Bezug auf die Durchführung von Testautomatisierung
  • Integration von Testautomatisierungsmethoden in den Testmanager für die Erfassung, Sammlung und Analyse von Testergebnissen
  • Fehleranalyse und Troubleshooting für fast-time-fixes
  • Rückmeldung von Fehlern und deren Beschreibung an die Entwicklungsteams
  • Verfolgung der Fehlerbeseitigung


Besondere Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen:


  • gutes Englisch in Wort und Schrift 
  • Erfahrung mit Scriptingsprachen (e.g. Python)
  • Erfahrung mit Testmanagementsystemen (e.g. HP QC, Polarion, Test Link, etc.)
  • Erfahrung mit OS-Administration
  • Erfahrung mit Azure Git/DevOps/Gira
  • Erfahrung mit UI Testframeworks




  • Gute Selbstorganisation
  • Bestreben neue Tools und zu erlernen und einzusetzen
  • Technische Persönlichkeit
  • Auch auf Details fokussiert
  • Interesse an Softwarearchitektur und der Entwicklung qualitativ hochwertiger Software.
  • Technischer Generalist - Nicht scheu zwischen verschiedenen Technologien zu wechseln.
