This is done by working as one community, a seamless team and enhanced by smart technologies. People Services Community consist out of HR Local Professionals, Subject Matter Specialists and People Support Specialists.

About the Position

 

In this role, you will work in a team of passionate HR experts in the field of Rewarding, Performance and International Mobility. You will be strongly supporting the execution of annual processes and the continuous improvement of Reward practices in a business-driven and people-centric manner, helping form a direct link between individual, team and business performance. Touchpoints outside your team will be with the full HR Community, Business HR as well as our line managers and employees across all levels of our organization and company – cooperation and collaboration are the essential key. Hence you will work with Wärtsilä colleagues globally and highly contribute to the quality of services delivered by HR. You can be located in any Wärtsilä location. 

 

As Total Rewards Services Specialist, you will be focusing on:

 

  • Execute services across the Total Rewards Services Portfolio (Pay Increase Processes, Short Term Incentives etc).

  • Ensuring high quality of services delivered across the Total Rewards Portfolio

  • Supporting in all Total Rewards Services matters across all levels of organization.

  • Continuously optimize Reward & Recognition services and make sure that all end-to-end processes are efficient and compliant, exploring global synergies and improvement opportunities on an ongoing basis.

  • Supporting the development and implementation of rewarding strategies as well as enabling systems and tools.

  • Analyzing salary and benefits structure, implementation and effectiveness.

  • Supporting global broker arrangements.

  • Supporting in International Mobility matters.

  • Driving operational excellence within the HR organization: support of HR operations, ways of working and efficiency.

 

About You

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with:

 

  • Ability to understand business strategies and translate these into actionable and compelling services delivery model within the performance, rewarding and mobility domain.

  • High levels of discretion given the nature of data you will be working with.

  • Have a wide experience in Recognition/Performance and compensation practices, experience on regional or global level is a plus.

  • Knowledge and experience of delivering compensation programs (staff, professional, executive, base salary design, incentive pay, job evaluation, etc.)

  • Basic knowledge of international mobility practices and related regulatory considerations is considered a plus.

  • Highly resourceful, self-driven with the ability to partner, execute and lead through influence and collaboration – across the organization.

  • Demonstrated curiosity and capacity for learning.

  •  Be service-oriented - if you don’t know something, you will for sure find out!

  •  Experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central, Compensation and Variable Pay is considered a plus

  • Be passionate about improving the imperfect – we are constantly looking for ways to work smarter!

  • Innovate thinking applied to further improve delivery services.
