Working Student (m/f/w)
in the area of Quality, Environment, Health, Safety (QEHS) Management Compliance for our location in Hamburg (possibly Wilhelmsburg and/or Bahrenfeld upon agreement) as soon as possible.
The position is limited to 18 months (with an option for extension), and the weekly working hours are up to 20 hours.
What you will be doing
As Working Student, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Support the QEHS team in managing compliance issues
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of QEHS policies and procedures.
- Participate in risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Maintain QEHS documentation and records.
- Prepare data/implement and maintain a database.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to promote a safe and sustainable working environment.
- Conduct research on current legal requirements and best practices in the HSE field.
- Support targeted HSE projects - with the possibility of independently managing smaller subprojects.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote QEHS awareness and compliance.
What you bring:
- You are currently enrolled in a degree program (e.g., Environmental Sciences, Occupational Safety and Health, Quality Management, Engineering, or similar).
- Strong commitment, reliability, and organizational skills, combined with a good sense for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to quickly adapt to new IT tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interest in occupational safety and environmental protection in an international company.
- Passion for sustainability and safety.
- Fluent language skills in German and English, both written and spoken, C1 level.

Deine Aufgaben:
- Unterstützung des QEHS-Teams beim Management von Compliance-Themen
- Unterstützung bei der Implementierung und Überwachung von QEHS-Richtlinien und -Verfahren.
- Teilnahme an Risikobewertungen und Vorfalluntersuchungen.
- Pflege der QEHS-Dokumentation und -Aufzeichnungen.
- Aufbereitung von Daten/ Implementierung und Pflege einer Datenbank.
- Unterstützung bei kontinuierlichen Verbesserungsvorhaben zur Forderung eines sicheren und
nachhaltigen Arbeitsumfelds - Durchführung von Recherchen zu aktuellen gesetzlichen Anforderungen und Best Practices im HSE-Bereich
- Unterstützung gezielter HSE-Projekte - mit der Möglichkeit, kleinere Unterprojekte eigenständig zu
leiten - Zusammenarbeit mit interdisziplinaren Teams zur Forderung des QEHS-Bewusstseins und der Compliance.
Das bringst du mit:
- Du bist derzeit immatrikuliert in einem Studiengang (z. B. Umweltwissenschaften, Arbeitssicherheit und Gesundheitsschutz, Qualitätsmanagement, Ingenieurwesen oder ähnlich).
- Starkes Engagement, Zuverlässigkeit und organisatorische Fähigkeiten, kombiniert mit einem guten Gespür für Details
- Ausgezeichnete Kommunikations- und zwischenmenschliche Fähigkeiten.
- Gute Kenntnisse in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) mit der Fähigkeit, sich schnell in neue IT-Tools einzuarbeiten
- Fähigkeit, selbstständig und im Team zu arbeiten
- Starkes Interesse an Themen der Arbeitssicherheit und des Umweltschutzes in einem internationalen Unternehmen
- Leidenschaft für Nachhaltigkeit und Sicherheit.
- Fließende Sprachkenntnisse in Deutsch und Englisch, in Wort und Schrift, C1 Niveau.
