Workshop Mechanicans (m/f/d) for our Workshop in Hamburg - (several positions) 

We are looking as per now, for people who have fun working on engine components within a team. 

The location for the positions is Hamburg, Schlenzigstraße 6-8 and the positions are permanent. 


What will you be doing? 


  • Dismantle, find and assemble engines, components and other products from the Wärtsilä portfolio.
  • Determining the need for spare parts, tools and devices to complete orders
  • Order documentation with IT supported system on PC, laptop or tablet
  • Experience in operating milling machines, lathes and boring mills desirable
  • Active cooperation in the improvement of work processes desirable
  • Compliance with current laws and regulations
  • Compliance with environmental regulations and quality specifications
  • Cooperation with other departments on site 


You will shine in this role when you have: 


  • A completed technical profession or a comparable qualification.
  • Knowledge in disassembling, finding and assembling engines or similar products and components in the form of repair, overhaul and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of large engines, their components and their machining is an advantage.
  • Confident knowledge of the use of measuring equipment ⦁ No fear of contact with laptops and tablets
  • Very good knowledge of written and spoken German, knowledge of English an advantage
  • A high degree of personal responsibility and reliability
  • Basically open to overtime, also on Saturdays or with staggered working hours

Es handelt sich um unbefristete Stellen in unserer Werkstatt in Hamburg, Schlenzigstraße 6-8. 


Was sind Deine Aufgaben? 

⦁ Demontieren, befunden und montieren von Motoren, Komponenten und anderen Produkten des Wärtsilä- Portfolios

⦁ Bedarfsermittlung von Ersatzteilen, Werkzeugen und Vorrichtungen zur Komplettierung von Aufträgen

⦁ Auftragsdokumentation mit IT gestützten System am PC, Laptop oder Tablet

⦁ Erfahrung im Bedienung von Fräsen, Drehmaschinen und Bohrwerken wünschenswert

⦁ Aktive Mitarbeit an der Verbesserung von Arbeitsabläufen erwünscht

⦁ Einhaltung der jeweils aktuellen Gesetze und Vorgaben

⦁ Einhaltung der Umweltauflagen und Qualitätsvorgaben

⦁ Zusammenarbeit mit andern Abteilungen an Standort 

Das bringst Du mit: 

⦁ Abgeschlossene technische Berufsausbildung oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation

⦁ Kenntnisse im Demontieren, Befunden und Montieren von Motoren oder ähnlichen Produkten und Komponenten in Form von Reparatur, Instandsetzung und Wartung.

⦁ Kenntnisse über Großmotoren, deren Bauteile sowie deren maschinelle Bearbeitung von Vorteil

⦁ Sichere Anwendungskenntnisse von Messmitteln ⦁ Keine Berührungsängste mit Laptops und Tablets

⦁ Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift, Englischkenntnisse von Vorteil

⦁ Ein hohes Maß an Eigenverantwortlichkeit und Zuverlässigkeit

⦁ Grundsätzlich offen für Mehrarbeit, auch an Samstagen oder mit versetzten Arbeitszeiten
