The position is permanent, and the location is Harvey, Louisiana (New Orleans Area), USA.
What You Will Be Doing?
As a Workshop Coordinator, you will support the daily operations of the workshop by coordinating repair activities, managing parts flow, scheduling work, and serving as the main point of contact between customers, technicians, workshop leadership, and internal stakeholders. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with customer expectations.This role is 100% workshop-based
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily workshop activities and schedules to support customer projects and operational priorities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, workshop personnel, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate shipping, receiving, tracking, and movement of components entering and leaving the workshop.
- Manage parts ordering and material availability to support workshop execution.
- Support change order management and ensure proper documentation and communication.
- Monitor billable activities, labor utilization, and timesheet accuracy.
- Assist with cost tracking, revenue monitoring, and margin analysis.
- Maintain accurate records in SAP, Salesforce, and other business systems.
- Support the Workshop Manager in workload planning and operational coordination.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements, company procedures, and customer standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in resolving operational issues by coordinating actions with relevant stakeholders.

- Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage high workshop activity.
- Experience in workshop coordination, service operations, logistics, maintenance, or a similar operational environment.
- Experience working with ERP systems and service management tools.
- Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to follow correct workflows and ensure steps are completed properly.
- Proactive, hands‑on attitude (“go‑getter”) and ability to stay focused in a dynamic environment.
- Mechanical knowledge is highly valued.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Skills:
- Experience with SAP and Salesforce.
- Strong computer and administrative skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Analytical skills with the ability to track costs, revenue, and margins.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in workshop operations.

Travel Requirements:
In this role, some domestic and international travel may be required. While most activities are workshop-based, occasional visits to customer sites or training sessions may occur. Estimated travel: 20%
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
