We are currently seeking an experienced, full-time

 

Assembly Mechanic

 

to join our skilled service team in Hattem, QuantiParts in The Netherlands.

The position is permanent and our team consists of 4 mechanics who work in 1 dayshift. The candidate is expected to have experience in assembling and performing repairs on engine equipment and components. 
 

What will you be doing:

 

  • Assemble loose parts into complete assemblies using work instructions.
  • Assemble machine parts into complete machines, such as short blocks. 
  • Perform simple electronic connections. 
  • Perform measurement and record the data on the relevant measurement records document.
  • Clean and inspect parts that have been contaminated as a result of conservation, oxidation or use. 
  • Determine the condition of used parts and ensure that they meet protocol. 
  • Conserve parts that are sensitive to oxidation and packages them for long-term storage. 
  • Keep the work area clean and organized

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have: 

 

  • Positive, agile and flexible attitude and you are practically solution oriented.
  • Mechanical technical experience in assembling parts
  • Knowledge on reading drawings, assembly instructions and test requirements
  • Experience in handling different tools, including hydraulic and pneumatic tools, welding and machining
  • Knowledge on diesel engine technology, including knowledge of fuel, lubricants, cooling and air systems 
  • Experience with safety standards, quality standards.
  • Fluency in Dutch. Additional languages, preferably English and German are considered an advantage
