QuantiParts is the Original Engine Manufacturer (OEM) for 12 classic Wärtsilä engine brands. We support our customers in the global Marine and Energy businesses with the best technical know-how and supply of genuine spare parts for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a 24/7 basis.

 

We are now looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to join our team in Hattem.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring correct process execution and prioritization, with a strong focus on the quality of processing, storage, and shipment preparation of goods.

 

Responsibilities

  • Act as a point of contact for colleagues within the department
  • Ensure progress in processing and shipping activities
  • Answer questions from employees and supervisors
  • Ensure processes are executed in line with customer requirements, including communication with sales and procurement
  • Escalate issues in case of process delays
  • Check incoming parts and assemblies for quantity, coding, preservation, and transport damage
  • Process accompanying documentation in the Warehouse Management System (SAP)
  • Inform quality inspection in case of damage or deviations and provide materials for inspection
  • Register materials and ensure correct system status
  • Store incoming goods at designated locations using transport equipment
  • Collect materials from warehouse locations
  • Ensure correct labeling according to order specifications
  • Consolidate orders and check for completeness and accuracy
  • Package materials according to specifications (weight, size, preservation)
  • Perform final quality checks and prepare shipments
  • Perform administrative follow-up and system updates in SAP
  • Verify correct SAP process execution and report deviations
  • Count materials and process quantities according to procedures
  • Work in accordance with safety regulations as described in the QESH manual
  • Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained within the department
  • Manage and issue personal protective equipment
  • Maintain tools, lifting equipment, and packaging machines
  • Report process deviations to Operations Management
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement (WCI)

 

Requirements

  • MBO level education
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of warehouse systems (SAP, S/4HANA, EWM)
  • Knowledge of handling, packaging, and shipping procedures
  • Experience with forklift/reach truck and safe lifting practices
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment and semi-automated systems
  • Good command of English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills

  • Zorgdragen voor uitvoering van processen conform klantwensen, inclusief communicatie met sales en inkoop
  • Tijdig escaleren bij stagnaties in het proces
  • Controleren van inkomende onderdelen en samenstellingen op aantal, codering, conservering en transportschade
  • Verwerken van documenten in het Warehouse Management System (SAP)
  • Informeren van quality inspection bij afwijkingen en aanbieden van materialen ter inspectie
  • Registreren van materialen en zorgen voor de juiste status in het systeem
  • Plaatsen van goederen op de juiste locatie met transportmiddelen
  • Verzamelen van materialen uit verschillende magazijnlocaties
  • Zorgdragen voor correcte labeling volgens orderspecificaties
  • Consolideren van orders en controleren op volledigheid en juistheid
  • Verpakken van materialen conform specificaties (gewicht, grootte, conservering)
  • Uitvoeren van eindcontrole en gereedmaken voor verzending
  • Uitvoeren van administratieve werkzaamheden en mutaties in SAP
  • Controleren of SAP-processen correct zijn gevolgd en rapporteren van afwijkingen
  • Tellen van materialen en verwerken van aantallen volgens procedures
  • Werken volgens de veiligheidsvoorschriften uit het QESH-manual
  • Toezien op naleving van veiligheid en kwaliteit binnen de afdeling
  • Beheer en uitgifte van persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen
  • Onderhoud van gereedschappen, hijsmiddelen en verpakkingsmachines
  • Rapporteren van afwijkingen aan Operations Management
  • Bijdragen aan continue procesverbetering (WCI)

 

Vereisten

  • MBO werk- en denkniveau
  • Minimaal 2 jaar relevante werkervaring
  • Kennis van warehouse systemen (SAP, S/4HANA, EWM)
  • Kennis van handling-, verpakkings- en verzendprocessen
  • Ervaring met heftruck/reachtruck en veilig hijsen
  • Bekendheid met magazijnapparatuur en (semi-)geautomatiseerde systemen
  • Goede beheersing van de Engelse taal
  • Vaardig in Microsoft Office
  • Goede communicatieve vaardigheden
