Warehouse Handler

 

to join our team working for a better future.

 

The preferred location for the position is in Hattem, the Netherlands.

 

What you will be doing 

 

As Warehouse Handler your work will focus on these responsibilities: 

 

  • Inspect incoming parts and assemblies for quantity, coding, preservation, and transport damage.
  • Process accompanying documents in the Warehouse Management System (SAP).
  • Notify Quality Inspection of damages or discrepancies and offer materials for inspection.
  • Record and address material number or quantity discrepancies and inform the Procurement department.
  • Label and store order-related materials in designated locations.
  • Organize warehouse locations for efficient storage and order picking.
  • Gather, label, consolidate, and pack materials according to order specifications.
  • Ensure accurate shipping preparation, including required documentation.
  • Perform system updates, corrections, and inventory counts in SAP.
  • Comply with safety guidelines and manage tools, lifting equipment, and packaging machinery.

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have: 

 

  • Knowledge of engine parts and their applications.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, reach trucks, and packaging machinery.
  • Proficiency in SAP and inventory systems, including WE-SAP and Schäfer ANT.
  • Understanding of shipping procedures and packaging materials.
  • English language proficiency.
  • LBO/MBO level education.
  • At least six months of relevant experience.
  • Certifications for forklifts, reach trucks, and lifting equipment are a plus.

Verantwoordelijkheden:

 

  • Controleren van inkomende onderdelen en samenstellingen op aantal, codering, conservering en transportschade.
  • Verwerken van meegeleverde documenten in het Warehouse Management System (SAP).
  • Informeren van de kwaliteitsafdeling bij schade of afwijkingen en aanbieden van materialen ter inspectie.
  • Registreren en afhandelen van afwijkingen in materiaalnummer en/of aantallen en informeren van de inkoopafdeling.
  • Labelen en opslaan van ordergebonden materialen op de juiste locaties.
  • Indelen van magazijnlocaties voor efficiënte opslag en orderpicking.
  • Verzamelen, labelen, consolideren en verpakken van materialen volgens orderspecificaties.
  • Gereedmaken en melden van materialen voor verzending inclusief benodigde documentatie.
  • Uitvoeren van systeemupdates, correcties en voorraadcontroles in SAP.
  • Naleven van veiligheidsvoorschriften en beheren van gereedschappen, hijsmiddelen en verpakkingsmachines.

 

Vereisten:

 

  • Kennis van motoronderdelen en hun toepassingen.
  • Bekendheid met magazijnapparatuur, zoals vorkheftrucks, reachtrucks en verpakkingsmachines.
  • Ervaring met administratieve magazijnsystemen, waaronder WE-SAP en Schäfer ANT.
  • Inzicht in verzendprocedures en verpakkingsmaterialen.
  • Beheersing van de Engelse taal.
  • Opleidingsniveau LBO/MBO.
  • Minimaal een half jaar relevante werkervaring.
  • Certificeringen voor vorkheftrucks, reachtrucks en hijsmiddelen zijn een pré.
