Business Analyst Trainee- Suomen Mentorit

We are looking for a recent graduate who has graduated within the last 12 months or a student close to finalising the studies to support Wärtsilä Voyage as a business analyst trainee in Voyage IT team.

The preferred location for the position is in Helsinki, Finland but can be negotiated. The position is temporary trainee position for 6 months.

 

As an Business Analyst you will 

- Support and customize current instance of Voyage Data Warehouse (DWH) (structures& processes, access rights management and users support)

- Take part as DWH developer in new projects for new Voyage Data Platform (backend for Finance, Supply chain, Product, Sale and Marketing DWH).

- Analytical DB design and development, ETL design and development, OLAP cubes design and development, access rights design and management are also something you are willing to dig into.

 

Requirements

- Either freshly graduate in M.Sc. in Data Science or similar or on final steps within studies

- Knowledge or interest for SSIS development, SQL management and development and SSAS management and development

- Fluent in English language

 

It would be highly appreciated in case you have experience in the following programs:

- SSRS development

- Power BI / Tableau development

- Jira and Jira SD as well as user Atlassian Confluence.

- C# and Python (for scripting)

- Git
