We are looking for an energetic BI Developer with the capabilities to deliver results together with the global Financial Data & Analytics Competency Center team. Your team members consist of BI and RPA developers and experts in the fields of Data Warehousing and you will be working together with all Wärtsilä organizations to deliver world-class Financial data-related BI solutions with QlikView and Power BI.
Position information:
The preferred locations for this permanent position are Helsinki, Turku or Vaasa, Finland but also locations in Fareham, UK or Hattem, Netherlands are negotiable. We offer also the possibility of hybrid remote work.
Your role and responsibilities:
As a BI Developer, you and your colleagues are responsible for the development, maintenance and end-user support for Wärtsilä's global Finance & Control BI reports and applications and you work together with the FDACC team members to ensure that the underlying data pipeline is optimal and provides correct results on reporting side.
As an ideal candidate, you have:
- MSc / BSc in a relevant field (Economics, Financial Accounting, Computer Science or equivalent). You can be a fresh graduate, or you’re just about to graduate
- Development experience with QlikView and Power BI and willingness to learn how to develop reports with these technologies
- Good communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Pro-active, analytical, systematic, and organised way of working
- Excellent customer service skills and problem-solving capabilities
