Wärtsilä Financial Data & Analytics Competency Center (FDACC) is a new organization in Group Business Control and we are looking for an energetic BI developer with the capabilities to deliver results together with the global team. Your team members consist of Senior BI developers and experts in the fields of Data Warehousing and BI platform support and you will be working with all Wärtsilä organizations to deliver world class Financial data related BI solutions with Qlik Sense and Power BI.

  

As a BI Developer you and your colleagues are responsible of development, maintenance and end user support for Wärtsilä's global Finance & Control BI applications and you work together with the FDACC team members to ensure that the underlying data pipeline is optimal and provides correct results on reporting side. You can also support the team in process development and help building and implementing standardized best practices and Wärtsilä Way of working for BI development.

 

Preferred location for this position is in Helsinki, Turku or Vaasa, Finland.

 

To succeed in this position, we expect you to have:

 

  • MSc / BSc in relevant field (Economics, Financial Accounting, Computer Science or equivalent). You can be a fresh graduate, or you’re just about to graduate.
  • Experience with Qlik Sense and Power BI development and willingness to learn how to develop reports with these technologies
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Pro-active, analytical, systematic, and organised way of working
  • Excellent customer service skills and problem-solving capabilities
