We are looking for a Development Manager with a main responsibility in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The location for this position is Helsinki, Finland.
  
Your role and responsibilities: 
 
As a Development Manager your work will include gathering and analysing business requirements, designing Salesforce solutions, testing and validating implementations, and providing training and support to ensure effective use of the platform. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of an energetic Sales Business Support team with diverse expertise.
 
Requirements for the position: 

 

  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis: 
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into detailed functional and technical requirements in collaboration with our internal/external Salesforce experts
    • Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to gather and document business processes and requirements
  • Solution Design and Implementation: 
    • Design and propose solutions that align with business objectives and improve efficiency
    • Work with Salesforce developers and administrators to implement and customize Salesforce features and functionalities
    • Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and meet best practices
  • Project Management: 
    • Manage and prioritize a backlog of enhancement requests, bug fixes, and new development projects
    • Track project progress, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: 
    • Develop and execute test plans to ensure solutions meet business requirements and are free of defects
    • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback for continuous improvement
  • Training and Support: 
    • Provide expert training and support to end-users to ensure they are proficient in using Salesforce
    • Create and maintain documentation, including user guides, process flows, and training materials
  • Collaboration and Communication: 
    • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment
    • Participate in regular meetings with cross-functional teams to discuss project status, issues, and opportunities for improvement

 
Qualifications/to be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have: 
 

  • Experience: 
    • 3-5 years of experience as a Salesforce Consultant or Business Analyst, with a strong understanding of Salesforce or other CRM systems
    • Proven track record of successfully implementing and/or managing Salesforce projects
    • Salesforce certifications are seen as a benefit
  • Technical Skills: 
    • Understanding of Salesforce configuration/development
    • Familiarity with data models and data migration processes
  • Analytical Skills: 
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose effective solutions
    • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
  • Soft Skills: 
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Education: 
    • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
