Integration Manager

MyWärtsilä (and Wärtsilä Online) customer platforms are Wärtsilä's digital interfaces with our customers.

 

We are looking for a B2B Digital Commerce Integration Manager to own and drive customer-facing digital integrations across our eCommerce and back-end landscape. You will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of EDI, API-based integrations, PunchOut, and e-invoicing enablement to ensure reliable operations, scalable onboarding, sustainable growth and measurable automation outcomes.


This role sits at the intersection of digital business, commerce platforms, ERP, and customer procurement ecosystems - translating business needs into robust integration solutions and driving adoption through strong stakeholder and partner management.

 

The preferred locations for this permanent position are Vaasa or Helsinki, Finland; or Genova or Trieste, Italy.  

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Be active part of our integration roadmap for B2B-customers.
  • Lead or participate to B2B-business integration projects including design, development and implementation according to agreed requirements and Wärtsilä business objectives.
  • Liaise, collaborate and network with customer organizations and Wärtsilä stakeholders to ensure success.
  • Manage and develop current B2B-integrations and enable "one stop shop" approach for the customers in all current Wärtsilä commerce channels to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of digital sales integrations.
  • B2B-integration development project management: resourcing (IM, Digital Commerce, Partners, Customers) and subject matter expertise.
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate the incident handling with external and IM partners.
  • API development management.
  • Drive AI initiatives related to digital growth.
  • Provide training and support to internal stakeholders and customers.

 

The below will enable you to succeed in this role: 

 

  • Experience with SAP SD module
  • Experience with B2B digital integrations (EDI, APIs, PunchOut, e‑invoicing).
  • Experience with procurement networks/marketplaces and eProcurement ecosystems (e.g., SAP Ariba/Coupa/Jaggaer).
  • Understanding of digital commerce platforms, ERP systems, and procurement ecosystems.
  • Proactive, structured, and able to manage multiple integration streams.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical integration solutions.
  • Hands‑on experience with API management and integration design.
  • Previous experience with robotics and AI-driven automation platforms (e.g., UiPath, SAP AI Core), with the ability to design, deploy, and maintain automated workflows and intelligent process solutions.
  • Strong project management skills and experience leading integration initiatives.
  • Ability to work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Experience troubleshooting and coordinating incident resolution with IT and vendors.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to drive customer onboarding and adoption.
  • Analytical way of working and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Problem solving skills, both technical and interpersonal.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, other languages considered advantageous.
