Lifecycle Sales Support Engineer

As part of Energy Storage & Optimization, you will join the Lifecycle Management team, which plays an integral role in the Operations department. You will be part of a team that develops energy storage lifecycle solutions which drive growth and profitability for our business.  You will support lifecycle sales activities by providing detailed sales calculations and proposals with a high level of internal and external customer satisfaction.  You will develop and maintain the lifecycle sales costing and proposal template materials to ensure stable margins and clear, concise offerings.


In this position you are reporting to the Manager, Lifecycle Sales & Offering Management. The location of this position is in Finland.

Your main responsibilities are:


  • Preparation of sales calculation and proposals, supporting the Opportunity Team with transactional Field Service, Spare Parts, Upgrade projects, and renewals of Service+ Agreement customers, or existing non-agreement customers where applicable
  • Determination, review and escalating approval of the calculated margin and proposal risk
  • Support in presenting and explaining proposals to customer
  • Assist the Manager, Lifecycle Sales & Offering Management with internal and external promotion of solutions, and developing new solutions and support material
  • Ensure CRM data quality of Opportunities
  • Use of data and analytics to identify new Opportunities
  • Develop and maintain the Service+, Upgrade and transactional sales costing model(s) & ensure alignment with proposal template content
  • Liaise and support ES&O Proposal Management with Service+ topics


 Main requirements in this role are:


Have relevant technical education, preferably Associate, Bsc. or equivalent, related energy storage O&M work experience, possessing an entrepreneurial mind set and Sales affinity. Fluent speaking and writing in English.


  • Knowledge of regional market and awareness of cultural diversity
  • Customer focus (internal/external) and capability of building business relationships
  • Good knowledge of ES&O products and solutions
  • Strong business and results-orientation
  • High attention to detail and comprehension, while maintaining a proactive and flexible mindset
  • Experience in customer facing situations while negotiating fairly
  • Drive for performance with positive attitude
  • Excellent team player with focus on communication and follow-up
  • Encourage the exchange of ideas and collaboration across organizational boundaries
  • Distinctive systemic / analytical work style - independent and solution-oriented, with time management & efficient organizational skills to manage dynamic workload
  • Have advanced knowledge of MS Office and CRM (Salesforce) applications
