This is a position for you if you are passionate about using your technical skills to support customers to succeed in their business. What you will be doing

These systems include both hardware and software components.

As a Project Engineer, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Managing the technical issues of customer delivery projects including creating and reviewing technical drawings, defining technical components, and instructing our commissioning engineers before installations.
  • Coordinating multiple installation projects with customers’ technical teams, our delivery partners and our own delivery team.
  • Supporting colleagues with technical aspects of our delivery such as system configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Preparing software configuration to allow for project delivery (Linux-based OS)
  • Checking data quality and system configurations to allow for smooth project handover to support teams.

You will shine in this role, when you have:

  • At least Bachelor’s degree in automation, electricity or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in technical commissioning in similar data collection systems
  • Experience in text-based operating systems (for example Linux or Unix)
  • Understanding of serial line protocols like NMEA and Modbus
  • Good knowledge in TCP/IP
  • Understanding in electrical circuits and basic skills in electric physics
  • Capability to manage multiple customer delivery projects and genuine team player skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Experience from the maritime industry is preferred but not mandatory
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English.
  • Experience in the maritime industry is highly valued.

We are authentic and honest, and we strongly believe in that by being your own true self you can accomplish so much more. That is why we have built an environment that empowers you and everyone around you, and where you can feel safe and cared for. Are you eager to be part of this ambition?
