QHES Manager, Workshops

We are looking for a QHES Manager, who is supporting the operations of QuantiServ regarding QHES matters and plays a role in developing the workshop processes as a member of the Shared Workshop Operations team.

As a part of this we are looking for a dedicated and pro-active colleague for the position of QHES Manager with the positive attitude and proven experience to lead the QHES function within QuantiServ and Shared Workshop Operations.

To succeed in this role, we expect You to be a relationship builder who is familiar with the field and shopfloor environment.

QHES Manager

Your main responsibility as QHES Manager is to manage and coordinate the QHES activities within QSWD to ensure the delivery of high quality products and services and maximise customer satisfaction. At the same time we expect you to touch ground dealing with QHES needs in the locations.

In this position you are reporting to the GM Workshops Innovation & Engineering and the for candidates this could be at one of our Eurpopean locations in order to effectively faciltiate onboarding and ongoing product and process familiarisation/training.

In this role your main responsibilities are

  • Ensure the alignment and implementation of Wärtsilä quality processes, systems, tools and programs in QuantiServ and support the same for workshops within FSWS
  • Ensure compliance of operations with standards and regulatory requirements together with the respective managers and the local QHES organizations
  • Define the audit program and coordinate the execution of the internal audit together with the local QHES colleagues
  • Ensure awareness about QHES matters in the organization by facilitating related trainings and internal communication
  • Monitor the quality level of the processes and solutions, and secure corrective actions are taken and followed
  • Document and maintain the process landscape in QS and SWO
  • Provide reporting related to QHES matters
  • Take the responsibility for leading business changes and operational excellence activities related to QHES

Main requirements in this role are

  • You have a proven track record in a QHES function
  • You feel comfortable in an operations environment and ideally do have a technical background
  • You easily interact with people from all organisational levels, building bridges and creating connections
  • You are a qualified lead auditor for at least one of the following standards (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018)
  • You have a solution oriented mindset and eagerly adapt best practices  
  • You take ownership of spreading the QHES agenda with strong communication and influencing skills
  • You are fluent in English (any additional language is considered a great asset)
  • You are willing to cope with travel requirements
