We are looking for a Senior Manager, Site Mobility & Compliance with a main responsibility in Energy, Engine Power Plant, Projects site mobility arrangements and related home- and host country compliance.

The preferred location for this position is in any Finland office locations Vaasa, Turku or Helsinki. We offer the possibility of hybrid work. 
  
Your role and responsibilities  
 
As a Senior Manager your work will include Energy, Engine Power Plant projects site personnel site mobility planning and management. You will have Site Mobility & Compliance team line manager responsibilities. You will lead and participate in selected continuous improvement developments. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of dynamic Construction and Commissioning Services team with diverse expertise in organising compliant project site resourcing solutions globally.
 
Your work will focus on these responsibilities:

 

  • Lead Site Mobility & Compliance team within Construction and Commissioning Services department in Energy, Engine Power Plant business line
  • Arrange and perform project specific studies of temporary cross-border site assignments and related compliance
  • Support in compliance planning and budget definition for the project opportunities in project sales phase
  • Manage and follow administering personal data in accordance with GDPR and Wärtsilä guidelines using Wärtsilä tools, especially Wärtsilä Confidential Data Platform
  • Coordinate developing compliance status of site assignment arrangements and related tools and methods
  • Coordinate reporting home and host country compliance and tax arrangements related to site assignments
  • Collaborate with other Wärtsilä business / support functions and external stakeholders in site mobility and compliance matters
  • Coach and guide internal stakeholders in country and project specific tax, compliance and related matters
  • Develop and improve existing company and department processes of site assignments, international mobility and taxation in collaboration with other functions and external partners

 
To be able to succeed in the position, we expect you to have: 
 

  • MSc or BSc level degree in law or tax/economics.
  • Solid experience of Global Mobility and Taxation related duties
  • Understanding of EU posted worker concept and cross-border assignments
  • People management and communication skills
  • Fluent in Finnish- and English language, both written and verbal.
