Senior Security Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Security Analyst with a main responsibility in cyber incident assessment and triage with operational threat intelligence experience. The preferred location for this position is Finland. We offer the possibility of hybrid work.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Senior Security Analyst your work will include advanced incident and threat response support according to the constituency of Wartsila Security Operations Center (SOC). The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of agile and OODA (“observe, orient, decide, act”) driven approach in the layered/tiered support team last line of defence with diverse expertise of individuals and behaviours.
Requirements for the position:
- Strong 24x7 incident response and threat hunting skills and know-how
- Experience in containing and eradicating incidents with war rooms and threat hunting
- Soft skills to convert intelligence and incident information to business consequences
- Collaboration and team working with members both cyber and non-cyber mindset
- Good communication and presentation skills
Qualifications/to be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have:
- Foundation in first and second level support of incident response
- Advanced skills in utilizing digital forensics, MISP, threat hunting and decoy technics
- Demonstration within cyber operations (e.g. ECIH, GIAC, or similar)
- Recognized feedback from past efforts done in cyber space
- Modest and respecting values and attitude both in private and business life
- Basic knowhow about IT service management in multinational enterprises
