Service Manager, Operational Networks

Information Management (IM) is part of new Digital Organisation. IM integrates processes, systems and information, supporting businesses in digitizing the core operations and enables new digital business opportunities via technology and information. For development minded person, IM offers an opportunity to shape the future of its IT environment and be part of the global digital transformation.

We are now looking for a Service Manager to lead the development of Operational Technology Networks. Operational Technology systems can be required to control processes, engines, conveyors, machining equipment and other machines to regulate various process values. These systems need to have a reliable, separate and secure network.

This is a new position is responsible for the lifecycle for the Operational Technology networks globally. As part of Wärtsilä IM the work is done in close co-operation with other units in Wärtsilä like, cyber security and production units. Building the best practices and industrial standards is a key requirement.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Realizing the full potential of the Operational Technology Networks
  • Manage the lifecycle of Operational Technology Networks including architecture, setup and support
  • Define a Vision and roadmap for Operational Technology Networks in Wärtsilä
  • Act as a Service Manager for the lifecycle of Operational Technology Networks

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in leading globally complex IT services
  • Proven track record of delivered network services
  • Experience in managing partner networks and sourcing
  • Knowledge/understanding of industrial system/network security standards would be benefit
  • Experience in cyber security
  • Experience in cross functional collaboration and international teams
  • Excellent influencing, communication and collaboration skills
  • Future orientation; strategical mindset and ability to create and execute tactical plans, roadmaps, business analysis and predictions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English

 

Possible LOCATIONS for this position are Helsinki, Vaasa and Turku in Finland
