We are looking for a Solution Expert, Lifecycle Data Platform with a main responsibility for the development and maintenance of programs and infrastructure connected to the Neo4j database ecosystem. The preferred location for this position is Helsinki, Finland. We offer a possibility for hybrid remote work.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Solution Expert you will work together with a Solution Engineer, Lifecycle Data Platform, supporting the Product Engineering & Lifecycle Management team to achieve its targets. Your role is about developing and maintaining GraphQL APIs and programs that interact with Neo4j.
These programs are running in AWS Lambda or Kubernetes and the Neo4j itself is running in AWS EC2 virtual machines and in Neo4j enterprise cloud depending on the environment. Maintenance of this ecosystem is also your responsibility. You would be making sure together with the rest of the team that the Neo4j ecosystem is kept up to date, observable, testable, and running with high reliability.
This position contains:

Platform engineering and operations – maintaining Neo4j Enterprise and development systems, version updates and monitoring

Data modelling and query design – designing Cypher queries to support business cases, maintaining index definitions and constraints, optimizing Cypher queries, refactoring models

Neo4j knowledge graph modelling – participating in building new data models in business projects

Operating business-critical services – defining support models, observability, data catalog, GraphQL schema etc.

Development of automated Confluence documentation based on schemas in the GraphQL API

Suitable education in the Information Technology area (BSc, MSc) and experience in data engineering and software development

Knowledge of Python, SQL and willingness to learn Neo4j database technology and GraphQL

Knowledge and experience of software development utilizing cloud technologies

Experience in DevOps culture and Agile development

Good spoken and written English skills
