We are looking for an experienced SAP Solution Manager for the Materials Management, Warehousing and Extended Warehouse Management areas (SAP MM, WM and EWM). In this role you will manage changes and configuration within own area, but also act as a Configuration Manager. This an opportunity for a seasoned IT professional to take a big role in the Wärtsilä ERP ecosystem and support us in our journey in S/4HANA. In this role you will be part of Global ERP CoE team working closely together with business and other members of our organisation in order to enhance the value of the IT delivery and development of the own solution domain. Location for this role can be Vaasa, Turku or Helsinki, Finland.

In this role you will be working with:

• Perform analysis of requested developments and participate in solution design creation, also configuring system yourself
• Manage assigned changes and new requirements within own functional area(s), both in project and minor enhancement developments
• Participate to cross-functional analysis in order to optimise the process flow between the modules in SAP in end to end process
• Provide decision makers in the business functions with process and design recommendations
• Explore new solutions to enhance business performance in co-operation with colleagues and business stakeholders
• Responsible of developments and changes going to production in own area and enforcing configuration management, development and documentation guidelines
• Maintain test cases and related business process descriptions in close co-operation with business in your areas
• Own regression testing scope in own area

Qualifications:

• Education: M.Sc. / B.Sc. or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar
• Very good team working skills in a global environment
• Proactive, development-minded and goal-focused attitude to work
• Fluent written and spoken English, ability to communicate complex topics to non-IT stakeholders
• Very good documentation, visualization and presentation skills
• Understanding of E2E business value flows
• Extensive functional and technical experience of SAP Materials Management and/ or Extended Warehouse management and relevant cross-functional integration points (other modules seen as a benefit)
• Knowledge of other S/4HANA processes and integrations are also seen as an advantage
• End-to-end cycle SAP ERP implementation experience, from project preparation through go-live
