Solution Manager, Supplier Portal

Information Management (IM) is part of new Digital Organisation. IM integrates processes, systems and information, supporting businesses in digitizing the core operations and enables new digital business opportunities via technology and information. We are looking for a Solution Manager to support Wärtsilä supplier portal and Supplier APIs. Wärtsilä offers a lot of challenges and growth potential for people passionate about supporting business with world-class solutions. In the Solution Manager position you will enhance and support solutions used in supplier management.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Actively work on operational development projects enhancing and optimising supplier management processes
  • Guide and assist business process owners to optimize, automatize and industrialize business processes with IT solutions
  • Manage and be responsible for development and total delivery of solutions during their lifecycle
  • Support, consult and participate in operational development projects
  • Manage the documentation and communication related to the own functional area
  • Work in closed co-operation with IM stakeholders, vendors and business stakeholders

     

Requirements

  • Education: B.Sc or equivalent in IT or engineering domain
  • Very good team working skills in global environment
  • Proactive, development-minded, independent and goal-focused attitude to work
  • Good software engineering skills (turning requirements to designs, usability, architecture, testing, IT project management, integration)
  • Familiar Purchase-to-pay processes
  • Knowledge of related information systems (Salesforce, SAP, API management, integrations) is seen essential
  • Problem solving skills
  • Good leadership, collaboration and change management skills
  • Very good documentation and presentation skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English

     

Possible locations for this position is Helsinki, Vaasa or Turku.
