Wärtsilä global IM (Information Management) integrates Processes, Systems and Information, supporting Wärtsilä’s businesses in developing the operations. We are looking for a Solution Manager, Salesforce. Wärtsilä offers a lot of challenges and growth potential for people passionate about supporting business with world-class solutions. In the Solution Manager position you will enhance and support Salesforce app(s) and solutions used in Field Services and Workshops operations in Wärtsilä. 

In the Solution Manager position you are part of DEVOPS team as Scrum Master, continuously enhancing and extending the solutions to fit the business needs. Ideal candidate can manage his/her own responsibility area independently and co-operates well with architects, developers, support and business stakeholders. Good understanding of the end users and global business processes help to succeed in this role, but right attitude and sound technical skills are a must.

 

Location:

This is global position with possibility to partial remote work but preferred locations for this permanent position are Helsinki, Turku or Vaasa in Finland. Or within similar time-zone.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and be responsible for development and total delivery of apps during their lifecycle 
  • Hands-on work in agile DEVOPS teams enhancing and optimising Field Services and Workshops platform apps. Takes scrum master or Subject Matter Expert roles in the related teams (often work in different areas at the same time) 
  • Manage, support, consult in related development initiatives, share good practices  
  • Manage the documentation in own area
  • Work in closed co-operation with the surrounding team, partners and business stakeholders 

 

Requirements:

  • Education: B.Sc or equivalent in IT or engineering domain 
  • Proactive Independent way of working, development-minded and goal-focused attitude to work, so you can fill the role in the development teams needed
  • Software engineering skills (scrum master, data-model/architectural mindset, turning requirements to technical designs, configuration/coding,  usability, testing) 
  • Understanding of Salesforce (Salesforce administration and platform) 
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Good leadership, collaboration and change management skills. Enjoys working in hectic environment. 
  • Fluent written and spoken English
