We are looking for a Test Automation Quality Assurance Engineer to join us in our mission of continuously boosting our R&D output. You will play a critical role in shaping the deployment, automation, and infrastructure for our products and customer-facing projects. We act globally, from the Americas to Europe, Singapore, and Australia. We're looking for individuals who can work independently when required and communicate asynchronously between sites. In practice, this means excellent communication and documentation skills.

Position information:

This is a full-time position based in Helsinki, Finland.

Responsibilities:

• Functional, API and integration test automation 
• Experience in working with desktop applications
• Perform functional testing on web applications
• Participate in all project phases including planning, preparation, stabilisation and first line of support of all the solutions 
• Participate in sessions for knowledge sharing, optimisation, and performance improvements
• Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools
• Experience in writing test plans and test cases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software developers, end users, business analysts, data scientists) using Agile methodologies to design and implement solutions for complex maritime challenges
• Mentor the organisation on QA practices, sharing your knowledge and ensuring that your own knowledge will propagate throughout the organisation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a QA role.
• Performance testing knowledge, for example, Jmeter, is considered beneficial
• Strong knowledge of Robot Framework, Selenium or other tools and Python for test automation (functional, API, Integration tests)
• The ability to effectively communicate concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience in the maritime industry, particularly in port operations or maritime logistics, would be highly beneficial. Knowledge of supply chain and logistical industry practices is also advantageous
