Contract Coordinator, Expertise Center

At Wärtsilä, with our innovative energy solutions, we want to be leading the transition towards a 100% renewable energy future. To join us in this journey to make this happen, we are looking for a Contract Coordinator for our Expertise Center to complement our technical expert team in Americas with skills, dedication and a sense of adventure. We are building a new state-of-the-art expertise center to support our power plant and energy storage customers with latest technologies like remote connectivity and data-based troubleshooting. This permanent position will be in Houston, USA.

 

This is a unique opportunity for you to join us and shape the transitioning energy market and the energy business at Wärtsilä. As the Contract Coordinator, you will plan and coordinate the execution of physical services at our customer’s installations. You’ll be working closely with the remote experts and data analysts to optimize plant performance. Researching, collecting, and reporting information related to agreements, contracts, and support improvements in the industry and beyond that would benefit Wartsila would also be expected. You will work in a team of experts in the center and they will also coordinate the work of other cross organizational professionals.

Accountabilities:

  • Ensure that scope of contract is delivered to customers according to agreement.
  • Plan, lead and manage execution of Field Service and (un)planned maintenance

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Field Service and Agreement Management activities in the assigned responsibility area in order to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support Agreement Manager to reach set quality, financial, cost, safety and time targets for (un)planned maintenance activities.
  • Make sure planning (parts, resources, vendors, contractors, etc.) is aligned for flawless execution of services.
  • Support the Agreement Manager in implementing Agreement Management action plans, processes and guidelines in the assigned responsibility area.
  • Maintain good internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Follow up financial, operative and technical performance through reviews and reporting.

 

Development responsibilities:

  • Ensure installation performance by suggesting improvements.
