As HR Immigration & Mobility Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering an excellent employee and stakeholder experience across North America by supporting immigration, relocation, and mobility processes with a strong focus on compliance, service excellence, and continuous improvement. This opportunity is open in Houston or Fort Lauderdale and follows a hybrid working model.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with HR colleagues, business leaders, employees, and external vendors to manage end-to-end immigration and mobility activities. You will also contribute to the development and enhancement of policies, processes, and tools that support a consistent and effective mobility experience.

Your key responsibilities

Lead immigration activities and support mobility and relocation processes by coordinating with external vendors and representing the company and employees throughout the process.

Provide expert guidance and a high level of customer service to HR teams and the business across the full assignment lifecycle and mobility-related matters.

Support the management and communication of internal project transfers, site assignments, and short-term assignments in close coordination with vendors and stakeholders.

Conduct initial assessments for assignment requests, manage cases end to end, and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Act as a key point of contact for employees, internal stakeholders, and external vendors, ensuring timely and clear communication throughout each case.

Build strong partnerships with vendors, leadership teams, and HR colleagues to support the successful delivery of mobility, relocation, and immigration initiatives.

Oversee third-party vendor activities related to mobility, relocation, and immigration, ensuring quality, consistency, and effective collaboration.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to the enhancement of processes, tools, and ways of working.

Work closely with global mobility and HR teams to help harmonize country policies, relocation practices, and immigration procedures.

Assess potential compliance risks and support the development of priorities and roadmaps for future improvements and initiatives.

Collaborate with HR teams to maintain and develop policies related to mobility, immigration, and relocation.
What will help you succeed in this role

Bachelor’s degree
-
Minimum 4 years of experience in international assignments, relocation, immigration, or similar roles

Solid knowledge of immigration processes, assignment package elements, assignee transfer processes, cost projections, and policy development

Strong ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and timely delivery

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in written and spoken English

Strong judgment, problem-solving skills, and confidence working within compliance frameworks

Ability to make sound decisions and resolve issues effectively in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Flexibility to work across global time zones when needed

High attention to detail and a proactive, service-minded approach
