Maintenance Planner, Energy Business

The Wärtsilä Energy Business – North Region team has a vacancy for a Maintenance Planner.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Planner, you will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Creation of agreement lifetime maintenance plan.
  • Update annual and detailed maintenance plans for the assigned agreements and prepare inputs for annual financial maintenance planning.
  • Act timely looking forward to the availability of required spare parts, exchange parts, field service resources, and required maintenance tools for maintenance tasks at the installation as per the maintenance plan, using the corresponding CMMS standard tool for Maintenance Planning (Maximo).
  • Prepare periodic reports to follow up on the Minor/Major maintenance forecast.
  • Make a periodic analysis of Maintenance Plans vs Equipment Performance, oriented on the continuous improvement of the Maintenance Plans for the installations.
  • Evaluation of Technical Bulletins to schedule in further maintenances.

 

Desired Education

  • Technical Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 3 years experience within the Energy Industry 
  • Organizational Skills
  • Experience in the report data creation
  • Highly proficient in the use of software IBM Maximo
  • Teamwork person
  • Professional Mechanical, electrical, or mechatronic engineer or related fields.

 

Additional Skills:

  • Good leadership and collaboration skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English required, Spanish a plus)
  • Strong focus on safety protocols and QEHS standards
  • Be able to work independently
