We are looking for a Power Plant Administrator to join our Power Plant team in Pecos, Texas.

 

What will you be doing

As a Power Plant Administrator, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to plant operations, ensuring the smooth coordination of site services, documentation, procurement follow-ups, and compliance-related activities. This role plays a key part in supporting daily plant operations by helping maintain an organized, safe, efficient, and compliant working environment.

 

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in administrative support, site coordination, procurement processes, vendor management, and documentation control. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders are essential for success in this role.

 

As a Power Plant Administrator, you will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to plant operations, including staff coordination, attendance tracking, expense processing, document control, and general office administration.

  • Coordinate site services and infrastructure needs, including utilities, transportation, housekeeping, office supplies, facility maintenance, and contractor activities to support a safe and efficient work environment.

  • Support compliance with local regulations by preparing, tracking, and maintaining permits, licenses, visas, certifications, and other required documentation with local authorities.

  • Act as the single point of contact for administrative purchasing activities, coordinating purchase requests, vendor follow-ups, service confirmations, and related documentation.

  • Support procurement and vendor coordination by monitoring service delivery, following up on pending requests, and ensuring timely resolution of administrative purchasing matters.

  • Monitor and control administrative costs, supporting budget tracking, invoice review, expense reporting, and cost optimization initiatives.

  • Track and report sustainability-related metrics such as energy consumption, water usage, waste reduction, and other site environmental indicators.

  • Coordinate onboarding support for site personnel, visitors, contractors, and external service providers, ensuring proper access, documentation, and administrative readiness.

  • Maintain accurate and organized records, reports, and site documentation in accordance with company procedures and applicable compliance requirements.

  • Support communication between plant operations, vendors, authorities, employees, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and effective administrative support.

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Previous experience in administrative support, office coordination, plant administration, site services, procurement support, or a similar role.

  • Experience working in an industrial, energy, power plant, manufacturing, construction, or technical operations environment is preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation and records.

  • Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, purchase requests, invoices, permits, or administrative services.

  • Good understanding of cost tracking, expense processing, and administrative budget control.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with plant personnel and cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.

  • Experience with ERP, procurement, maintenance, or document management systems is considered a plus.
