Summer Intern - Project Development

We are looking for a summer intern to support our Project Development team.  The ideal candidate will be in their 2nd or 3rd year of studies.

 

Job Description

As a Project Development Intern, you will support our project development team in identifying, evaluating, and advancing new opportunities in the electric power sector. You will gain exposure to various stages of project development, from initial concept to commercial operation, and contribute to the successful execution of energy infrastructure projects.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting market research and opportunity assessments for potential project locations.
  • Assist in ongoing projects currently underway. (Development & Permitting, Construction, and Commercial Operation)
  • Support the preparation of feasibility studies and financial models.
  • Assist in negotiating land leases, permits, and other project agreements.
  • Conduct due diligence activities, including site visits, environmental assessments, and risk analyses.
  • Assist in preparing project documentation and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

 

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
