Why do we need this position?
To maintain the growth trajectory of the U.S. lifecycle business, Operation Region North looks to add this position to take the planning phases of services off all Operations Coordinators. This additional position is a COGS position and strengthens the team and services overall. The new Operations Planning Coordinator will focus on maintaining and growing Field Service operations from existing accounts through active collaboration with our Account Manager, Sales Support, and Coordination teams while also working diligently to support our Field Service Engineers. We need to increase focus on customer satisfaction and continue driving our internal teams to ensure the continued growth of EB Services.
Position Description: Regional Field Service Planning Coordinator

Our field service engineers & superintendents are regularly assigned to attend to our customers’ installations for complex equipment installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and repairs for many days or weeks at a time.
Role Purpose:
The Field Service Planning Coordinator is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating field service activities, including engine overhauls and maintenance tasks. This role ensures timely execution of work for both transactional and agreement customers while optimizing resource utilization and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
As a Regional Field Service Planning Coordinator, the main responsibilities will be
- Scheduling & Planning:
- Develop and maintain detailed schedules for engine overhauls and field service activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure resource availability and adherence to timelines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling updates and changes.
- Align overhaul plans with customer operational requirements and contractual obligations.
- Ensure all planning activities comply with safety standards and company policies.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Track schedule adherence and identify improvement opportunities.
- Report KPIs related to planning accuracy, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
- 2+ years in planning, scheduling, or coordination roles within field service or industrial operations.
- Knowledge of engine overhaul processes is preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in scheduling tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong MS Excel and data analysis skills.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong communication and customer service orientation.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
To be successful in this role the candidate will have to be:

- Experienced in Project Management and Planning
- Detail Oriented and exceptionally organized
- Fluent in English. Spanish, and/or French is a plus
- Knowledge of MS Power Point, MS projects, Excel and Word
- Able to create complex Gantt charts and schedules
- Ability to read and understand basic Electrical/Mechanical drawings
- Previous knowledge of Field Service processes such as Commissioning, Warranty, Sales, Training and Customer follow up
- Communication and listening skills, ability to deal with people of different nationalities and backgrounds
- Strong ability to delegate, follow directions and work under pressure
- Ability to create and maintain a positive, motivated environment
- Understanding of basic financial aspects such as cost, margin, revenue, & rework
- Able to verify sales quotations for proper job scopes, man hours and costs
- Strong customer relations skills

- Willingness to travel to our customer installations within the North Region (USA/Canada and Caribbean)
