Senior Maintenance Planner



What will you be doing?

 

As a Senior Maintenance Planner, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and continuously improving maintenance activities for assigned agreements. You will help ensure that maintenance plans are accurate, resources are available, and activities are aligned with operational and financial expectations.


Location: Houston, TX (preferred) 

 

In this role, you will focus on:

  • Creating and maintaining long-term maintenance plans for assigned agreements.

  • Updating annual and detailed maintenance plans, including inputs for financial maintenance planning.

  • Planning ahead to ensure the availability of required spare parts, exchange parts, field service resources, tools, and other materials needed to execute maintenance activities.

  • Using Maximo or similar CMMS tools to support maintenance planning and follow-up.

  • Reviewing maintenance plans against equipment performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to improve maintenance processes, planning tools, and overall maintenance execution.

  • Supporting clear communication and coordination between maintenance, operations, field service, and agreement management teams.

 

Requirements / Skills

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates who bring:

  • A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Experience in maintenance planning, asset management, or a similar role within the energy, power generation, industrial, or related sector.

  • Previous experience using IBM Maximo or another CMMS system.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Good analytical skills, including the ability to work with maintenance data, reports, and performance information.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.

  • A proactive mindset and interest in continuous improvement.
