Sr. Agreement Manager

We are searching for a Senior Manager Agreement Management, CD. The purpose of the position is to Lead and grow the Agreement Management business and organisation in the assigned region. Ensure value addition to customer business and customer satisfaction by maintaining set quality standards, optimizing costs, and achieving technical contractual performance of installations under agreement. Ensure all activities strictly adhere to global Agreement Management processes, guidelines, and local statutory regulations applicable in the country or region.

Ensures Agreement delivery within assigned Country /Region to achieve objectives, impacting Agreements overall performance.

Scope:

Accountable for Agreement Delivery in the assigned Country/Region.

Requirements:

- Previous experience managing O&M Agreements.

- Oversight of power plant operations equipped with Wärtsilä engines.

- Leadership responsibilities for teams involved in day‑to‑day plant performance and compliance.

Main Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage Agreement management activities and the organisation within the assigned region or country.

 

- Ensure yearly target setting is carried out as per Global Instructions, an action plan is made for each agreement, and plans are implemented in the relevant agreements.

 

- Communicate the Agreement Management mission, vision, strategies and development initiatives to achieve organizational goals.

 

 - Ensure knowhow and professional competence development within assigned organisation through competence assessments taking in account the existing and upcoming product/agreement types.

 

- Foster a team environment that encourages professional growth, collaboration, and a customer-centric approach in contract delivery. Maintain a resource plan according to upcoming requirements.

 

-  Ensure compliance with Quality, Environmental, Health, Safety and Security requirements for all assigned agreements in Country /Region, in close collaboration with the Agreement management QEHS & area QEHS team. This includes aligning with corporate standards, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational excellence through regular assessments.

 

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders/support functions, to ensure clear communication and alignment on contract delivery.

 

- Follow-up customer feedback and ensure that agreed corrective and preventive actions are taken in the assigned agreements in Country/ Region.

 

-Ensure agreement renewal processes are initiated well in advance, both internally and with the customer, to understand their business needs, explore upselling opportunities, and possibility for moving up in the value ladder.

 

- Regular follow up of Agreement Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and Process Performance Indicators (PPI’s) to ensure that actions are taken to close gaps and enhance performance, report findings and actions to own line management and to Business Unit.

 

- Prepare and participate in quarterly performance reviews with Business Unit.

 

- Follow up on Agreements receivables, ensure that agreement invoices are paid in time and that action plans for the outstanding invoices are in place and followed with Customer.

 

- Follow up on agreements Lessons learned, ensure that lessons learned are shared within the region and Energy Services.
