Summer Intern - Power Generation Market Analyst 

 

We are looking for a Summer Intern - Market Analyst to join our Energy Business AMER team

 

What will you be doing

As a Summer Intern - Power Generation Market Analyst, you will work with Energy Business North Region to Map the drivers related to energy (transition) in the United States and for countries/islands in the Caribbean.  Investigation of competitors is included within the scope as well.

 

The ideal candidate will be in their 2nd - 3rd year of studies

 

As a Summer Intern - Power Generation Market Analyst, you will focus on these responsibilities:

 

Research, analyse, and compile reports for internal consumption by Wartsila sales teams and strategy development team.  Study market drivers, regulatory requirements, industry trends, technology advancements, associated market trends (such as fuel supply and power transmission).  Use of internet search along with existing databases in use will be primary method of research, but also interviewing of internal resources with first hand knowledge of business dynamics.  Visiting sites and power generation facilities is a possibility.

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • High school diploma and current enrollment in college or university undergraduate program.
  • Ability to work from office location and also virtually from home, also the ability to travel via airplane may be required.
  • Ability to work in the US without sponsorship
