We are currently seeking a full time Warehouse Associate to join our Parts Delivery Services team.  This person will be accountable for handling inbound goods, outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy of inventory stock, and adhering to local workplace health, safety and environmental regulations.  The ideal candidate will have previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain. 

 

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Houston (11710 N. Gessner Rd). The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, with weekend work required as needed.  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Inbound activities: Receive, count and stock material.
  • Outbound activities: pick, pack and ship items.
  • Operate forklifts and hand/power tools safely.
  • Load / unload trucks.
  • Handle production orders.
  • Loading / Unloading of container
  • Visual inspection of goods inbound / outbound / returns / claims for damage and discrepancies
  • Cycle counting of inventory according to requirements.
  • Maintain records in timely order in tools and programs as required by stakeholders.  
  • Maintain warehouse supplies and tools.
  • General housekeeping of warehouse area.
  • Supporting in handling local transportation requests.
  • Communication with internal and external stakeholders in a professional and proactive way, both verbally and in written.
  • Other warehouse duties as needed and requested by line manager
  • Caring out duties in a safe way, being able to make risk assessments and report to line manager when required.
  • Serving the customers in an optimal way, providing best services available 

  

Qualifications and skills required: 

  • High school / secondary school diploma.
  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management.
  • Forklift certification is preferred but not required. However, candidates must have prior forklift experience.
  • Safety awareness or a safety certification is strongly preferred
  • Good knowledge in computer software programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
  • Good knowledge from ERPs such as SAP and Navision ERP related to warehouse and inventory management.
  • Good knowledge in Incoterms and Transportation methods.
  • Good skills in Export documentation, customs procedure and dangerous goods handling.
  • Basic skills in Transportation insurance claim handling.
  • Good communication, cooperation and teamwork skills in a multicultural and international work environment.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Well organized.
  • Detail oriented.
