QEHS Manager

We are looking for QEHS Manager to contribute and promote "First class" QEHS culture, mindset and approach.

Located in Budaörs, Hungary and supporting Romania also.

 

Main Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure and support implementation of the applicable global procedures, guidelines and processes.
  • Maintain the EHS local management procedures, tools and specifications according to corporate / business guidelines.
  • Review/evaluate current local methods, procedures and system documentation; recommend changes that will improve the quality of the products, productivity or QEHS performance.
  • Perform complex analyses and inspections: internal and external (on site and on board) QEHS audits. Participate in internal audits as a lead auditor.
  • Monitor and review QEHS performance and extract learning points.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of standards, methods, data using appropriate software/tools.
  • Ensure that HS statutory and regulatory requirements are implemented locally with professionals/consultants of Quality, Occupational Health, Safety and Environment.
  • Make technical and performance reports to company/business/corporate management and external stakeholders.
  • Provide technical safety support and advice to our internal and external customers.
  • Support line managers in Incident Investigation and risk assessment.
  • Promote, actively and visibly; positive behaviour towards QEHS.
  • Ensure that corrections and corrective actions are defined and implemented for single notifications.
  • Coordinate consultation and participation of employees considering Occupational Health and Safety in the workplace.
  • Maintain effective QEHS training programs and develop initiative to increase Quality, Safety, and Environmental culture to our personnel.
  • Educate and train local operational organization to ensure that safety procedures and standards are understood.

 

Qualification:

 

  • QEHS engineer/manager or Engineering degree
  • Management systems internal auditor
  • Certified EHS specialist

 

Experience and skills:
 

  • At least 2-3 years in QEHS position
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001, 9001 and OHSAS 18001 principles and audit techniques
  • Knowledge of applicable country regulations in Health and Safety regulations and in basic Environmental issues
  • Good working knowledge of standard software tools, Office 365, Salesforce and SAP
  • Hungarian and English knowledge is a must, Romanian is an advantage

  • Strong capability to work independently and in matrix organization with international team
