Parts Coordinator, SLS TR, Caspian & Black Sea

The location for this position is Istanbul, Turkey. We offer a possibility to hybrid remote work.
We are looking for a Parts Coordinator, SLS TR, Caspian & Black Sea with a main responsibility in providing technical and administrative support to the sales team, assisting with the preparation of sales proposals and documentation while ensuring accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries and proposal requests.
What will you be doing
As a Parts Coordinator, SLS TR, Caspian & Black Sea your work will include end-to-end customer service, including creating quotes, orders and active follow-up of deliveries. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of dynamic sales team with diverse expertise.
Your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Act as contact for spare parts quotations, orders, deliveries and non – conformities for SLS
- Act as a link between customer and SLS Sites (factories) in the spare parts delivery process
- Handle and coordinate quotes and orders according to working procedures and guidelines, and local requirements
- Ensure highest level of quality and response time for quotes and orders
- Ensure quality of spare parts sales documents
- Ensure correct customer master data and handling instructions are used when processing quotations and orders
- Actively follow up quotes with customers before they expire providing feedback to SLS sales teams
- Actively follow-up the order book
- Liaise with Sales about the content and terms of the offerings
- Follow up with supply chain of parts deliveries according to agreed process
- Maintain and develop knowledge of customer specific solutions and needs
- Use internal network within the expertise to escalate issues that may arise within the expertise
To be successful in this role we expect you to:
- Understand the customers' business
- Understand the corporate vision
- Understand Wärtsilä parts order processes
- Identify needs and problems
- Have a good knowledge of SAP is considered as an advantage
- Written and spoken language skills on English and Turkish
- Knowledge of Wärtsilä Shaft Line Solutions portfolio is considered as an advantage
In this role, some travel might be required to support the local sales manager.
