Senior Field Service Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Field Service Engineer to join our team and contribute to building a more sustainable future. In this role, you will play a key role in performing field service activities, ensuring high-quality execution, and delivering solutions to our customers. 

 

The location for this position is in Istanbul, Tukey. 

 

Your role and responsibilities

   

As a Senior Field Service Engineer, you will focus on these responsibilities:  

 

  • Perform field service activities according to the work plan. 

  • Conduct overhauls and repairs on assemblies both on-site and in workshops. 

  • Interact professionally with customers during work execution, ensuring excellent service delivery. 

  • Monitor and report on the progress of assigned work to both customers and internal stakeholders. 

  • Create detailed and accurate Service Work Reports. 

  • Ensure all work is executed in compliance with QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment) guidelines, site procedures, and company policies. 

  • Continuously seek and implement solutions based on best practices. 

 

Requirements for the position   

 

  • Relevant technical education or a combination of education and at least 5 years of experience. 

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering is preferred. 

  • Strong technical experience in marine engineering with practical problem-solving skills. 

  • Proven expertise in installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment. 

  • Highly effective technical communication skills, both written and verbal. 

  • Experience working with electrical systems is beneficial. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer applications. 

  • Fluent in English and Turkish, both written and verbal. 

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills. 

  • Cost awareness and a focus on delivering effective solutions to customers. 

  • A safety-first mindset and the ability to follow QSHE guidelines.

  • Willingness to travel frequently, up to 80% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
