We are looking for a Senior Service Engineer Mechanical to join our team and contribute to building a more sustainable future.
In this role, you will play a key role in performing field service activities, ensuring high-quality execution, and delivering solutions to our customers.
The preferred location for this position is in Istanbul, Turkey.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Senior Service Engineer Mechanical, your work will include performing field service, maintenance, and repair activities on mechanical systems. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of a dynamic Field Service team with diverse expertise.
As a Senior Service Engineer Mechanical you will focus on these responsibilities:
- Performing field service activities according to the work plans.
- Carrying out overhauls and repairs on mechanical assemblies on-site and in workshops.
- Preparing service work reports and documenting performed activities.
- Ensuring work is executed according to QSHE guidelines, procedures, and policies.
- Communicating effectively with customers and stakeholders on work progress.
- Continuously seek and implement solutions based on best practices.
Requirements for the position
- Relevant technical education, such as a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- At least 5 years of experience in mechanical service or marine engineering.
- Proven experience in the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems.
- Experience working with electrical systems (considered an advantage).
- Fluent in English and Turkish, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel frequently (up to 80% of the time), both domestically and internationally.
- Practical problem-solving skills and a hands-on mindset.
- Strong technical communication skills.
- A safety-first mindset, with the ability to follow QSHE guidelines.
