Senior Service Engineer

As a Senior Service Engineer, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
 

  • Perform Field Service activities according to the work plan.
  • Overhauls and repairs on assemblies on site and/or in workshops.
  • Interact professionally with customers during the work execution.
  • Perform internal and external progress status of the assigned work.
  • Follow-up and report on the status of work orders to customer and/or internal stakeholders.
  • Create the Service Work Reports.
  • Ensure that the work is executed according to QSHE guidelines and site procedures and policies.
  • Continuously seek for solutions in according to best practices.

 

The below will enable you to shine in this role:

 

  • Relevant technical education or qualifications as a combination of education as a combination of education and 4 years of experience.
  • Technical experience in marine engineering with practical problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience of installation operation, maintenance and repair.
  • A safety-first mind-set.
  • You are passionate about developing Wartsila E2E-business to the next level.
  • Highly effective technical communication skills, both written and verbal. Interact professionally and deliver solutions to customers during the work execution.
  • Experience in propulsion shaft alignment and vibrations beneficial.
  • Experience of working with electrical systems beneficial.
  • You must have completed your military service obligation.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
  • Fluent in English and Turkish, both written and verbal.

 

Your application may be at an advantage with:

 

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering or equivalent
  • Demonstrable experience in propulsion shaft alignment and vibrations
  • Proven experience of working with electrical systems

 

Note : Due to the nature of this role, there will be frequent travel involved.
