About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Delivery Coordinator to manage delivery arrangements for WID’s import, export, and local cargo. The role is responsible for coordinating warehousing and inventory management, as well as supporting WID’s import and export operations, including daily and monthly shipment reporting, customs audit support, and vendor payment processes such as PO creation and invoice verification. This role is critical in driving efficiency, sustainability, and continuous improvement across our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate import, export, and local shipment delivery arrangements
- Contribute to logistics vendor selection and evaluation together with the Purchasing team
- Monitor and resolve logistics vendor quality and performance issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery activities and inventory management align with business objectives and company guidelines
- Manage warehousing and inventory activities
- Monitor customs brokers and logistics vendors’ daily reports to ensure on-time cargo delivery
- Support WID’s import and export operations, customs audit activities, and related reporting
- Handle vendor payment processes, including PO creation and invoice verification
- Contribute to Wärtsilä’s continuous improvement initiatives
Job Specifications :
• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience in logistic, import export, or supply chain operations.
Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of logistic, warehousing, import export, and supplier management.
• Familiarity with Customs audit, data processing, and SAP
• Experience in the similar company business is an advantage.
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret supplier and logistics performance data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and maintain positive stakeholder relationships
- Strong problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Good skills in MS Office, especially MS Excel
- Familiarity with SAP
