Senior Sales Support Engineer

Wartsila is looking for a Senior Sales Support Engineer to support service sales in generation of Field Service quotations / combined Field Service and Parts quotations as well as assist product sales, project sales and agreement sales in localization of the package offers / proposals generated.

 

The right candidate will have strong commercial and technical product knowledge within our portfolio and will thrive in a multi-cultural, cross-continental and fast paced working environment with multiple stakeholders

 

In this position, you will be reporting to General Manager, Product Sales & Sales Support and the preferred location of the position is in Jakarta, Indonesia.

 

Main responsibilities:

 

Generate customer specific solutions, specifications and quotations according to needs of Sales, through:

 

  • Bid management.
  • Generate quotations based on customers or sales request by evaluate enquires and register/maintain opportunity information.
  • Liaise with Sales about the content and terms of the offering.
  • Communicate with Sales Experts, Account Manager / Agreement Manager and Customer about technical specifications and /or delivery information.
  • Maintain and develop knowledge of customer specific solutions and needs.
  • Configure solution according to defined needs.
  • Preparing cost calculations according to directives and agreed targets.
  • Evaluate technical and environmental risks of the solution.
  • Ensure that response time for sales inquiries / request / orders are met.
  • Supporting in preparing sales presentation material.
  • Participate in relevant sales meetings with customers when required.
  • Coordinate daily activities and urgent requests with relevant colleagues in order to find satisfactory solutions.

 

Requirements:

 

Qualification: Graduate Engineer with 10 years of relevant experience in the field.

  • Willingness to travel
