FS Engineer for EGC II, for EGC Systems

We are looking for two
Field Service Engineer for EGC (Exhaust Gas Cleaning) System

 

 

About the position
Here in Wartsila-Japan, we have more than 100 EGC local installation and customers, but there are currently only x 4 FS EGC engineers on duty. The 4 EGC engineers are also all consist of foreigners (non-Japanese).
This is why additional local EGC engineers(Japanese) are needed to better understand the culture of local customers and realize customer satisfaction through seamless communication with local customers.
In addition, we are still a high EGC commissioning work load (BR average is above 90% ), and will be a source of great help for further work on warranty works and lifecycles sales in the future.

 

Main responsibilities:
• Executing warranty, commissioning work, sea trail & supervision of Field Service Wartsila EGC Products.
• Carrying out trouble-shooting, routine maintenance, inspection and repair for Wartsila EGC Products.
• Performing dry docking maintenance and supervision for Wartsila EGC Products.
• Inspecting the scrubber general condition, the control system and pneumatic system.
• Evaluating the EGC running performance.
• Prepare & submit service work reports.
• Wartsila EGC Products modification works.
• Technical communications with Wärtsilä field service stakeholders and customers.
